An Additive Manufacturing Love Story
Welcome to Stratis Studios Ltd!
With a mutual love for all things engineering, Lauren & Ed bought their first 3D printer back in Autumn 2022. A second-hand Ender 3 pro (lovingly named Bender), it was about as basic as they came and offered a variety of different challenges to overcome! Many hundreds of print fails and several rebuilds later, the duo were finally getting some good results to show for it and had fallen in love with the hobby.
In Autumn 2024, they chose to retire the Ender 3 and upgrade to a K1C. This was where things really kicked off. With a bigger build volume and faster, more reliable printing, the K1C enabled them to dive deeper into the world of 3D printing.
2025/2026 saw their first big product design project and the introduction of a resin printer and a Hi Combo - and Stratis Studios LTD was born.
The couple now operate from their small cozy studio, enjoying every second of helping bring people's visions to life and with the dream of slowly expanding the business to become a one-stop shop for all additive manufacturing needs!
